BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Birmingham man for capital murder in the killing of a man who was dropped off by a private vehicle at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.

Kelvin Andra Edwards was arrested and charged with Lamar King’s shooting.

Court documents show King was in a vehicle when he was shot in March of 2024.

Detectives believe King may have been shot in the 1900 block of 13th Way Southwest.

Edwards is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on no bond.
