There’s a no-fly zone at Linfield and two players from Clark County are patrolling the skies.
Kenyon Johnson and J.J. Thompson are both starting a cornerback for the Wildcats. They each had an interception in a 28-13 win over Chapman on Saturday in McMinnville, Ore.
Johnson’s interception came at a crucial moment. With Linfield trailing 13-6, he picked off a pass in the end zone in the final minute of the first half.
A redshirt junior from Hockinson High School, Johnson earned all-conference honors last season. He appeared in 13 games, recording two interceptions and 32 tackles.
Johnson is majoring in Exercise Science and studied abroad in Italy last year.
