A citizen group, joined by area lawmakers, called on judicial and Department of Human Services reform during a rally Monday at Tulsa County District Court.

About 25 to 30 people gathered outside the courthouse to air a list of complaints about the state government, many dealing with parental child custody issues.

And while each person’s issue may have been unique, many who spoke agreed adding public access cameras to the courtrooms would help provide better transparency.

The rally was organized by a group calling itself The Focal Point of Accountability.

For some attendees, it was not their first time to air grievances about the government.
