President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Sept. 22 revealed their findings of a federal effort to find "the answer to autism," asserting Tylenol was a possible cause of rising autism cases.

Trump presented his administration's autism report details during a media briefing at the White House with his Health Secretary RFK Jr., who has asserted that the U.S. is in the grips of an "autism epidemic" fueled by "environmental toxins."

Trump and RFK said the U.S. Food and Drug Adminisrtation would also issue new physician's notice about the risk of acetaminophen, or Tylenol, use during pregnancy. The agency would also be pursuing steps towards adding a warning label to acetaminophen about the risks, RFK Jr. said.
