An international airport was compelled to shut down after drones were sighted in the vicinity, causing significant disruption on Monday evening. ‌

As many as three UAVS were allegedly spotted in the airspace over Copenhagen Airport in Denmark, leading to a heavy police presence. "We have a massive presence out there", stated Henrik Stormer, the head of the Copenhagen Police . ‌

The airport ceased operations for take-offs and landings at approximately 8.30pm local time, as reported by Naviair - the firm responsible for traffic control at the airport. A post by FlightRadar on X (formerly Twitter) indicated that as of 10:05pm local time (8:05pm UTC), over 35 flights destined for Copenhagen Airport had been rerouted to other airports due to the drone situation. ‌
