Two weeks later, the Missouri Lottery announced that state's winner came forward to claim their prize.

On Sept. 6, plus the Powerball to win the nation’s second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history. The Powerball lottery streak lasted through the summer. It was the 13th time in U.S. history a lottery jackpot reached and surpassed $1 billion.

On Monday, Sept. 22, two weeks after the Powerball jackpot reset to $20 million following the epic $1.8 billion win, only the Missouri winner has come forward. The Texas ticketholder has not been announced.
