MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 13-year-old boy arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 11-year-old will remain in secure detention.

Last week, Milwaukee police responded to a call near 68th and Silver Spring. Police say 11-year-old Deon Sargent died as a result of a robbery. A 13-year-old was arrested in connection to that shooting. CBS 58 is not naming him because he is a minor.

Prosecutors say the 13-year-old told detectives he wasn’t thinking and stated he thought it wouldn’t be a struggle to take the gun from Sargent. The court commissioner stated she had concerns abo
