LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Urban League was presented a $40,000 grant from Spectrum’s Digital Education program. The money will be used for the Urban League’s Workforce Development Senior Tech Program.

“Connectivity is the foundation for meaningful learning, professional growth and human connection, and helps to build strong, thriving communities,” said Heather Day, the area vice president of field operations. “Spectrum Digital Education supports programs that empower community members to enhance their lives with connectivity, from providing digital literacy training to seniors to connecting students with important resources and tools for their education.”

Louisville Urban League works to help people facing challenges get equal opportunities in jobs, justice, education and health.
