Conservative Leader John Rustad has survived his leadership review, getting 70.66 per cent support in a bruising months-long process that has carried on since June and resulted in at least five MLAs urging him to resign over allegations of improper membership sign-ups, according to party sources.

Only 1,268 people voted in the review, despite the party having over 8,000 members in good standing. That is a voter turnout of 15 per cent. Out of 93 ridings, Rustad won in 78 of them, lost in 10, tied in three and two had no votes cast, according to the party.
