COLUMBUS, Ohio — The week started violently in Columbus.
Shortly before 7 a.m., police were called to a shooting in the Argyle Park neighborhood on the northeast side. A 911 caller told dispatchers that his family was inside the home when shots started coming in through the walls.
A child and an adult were taken to the hospital. Both are expected to survive their injuries, police said.
As police continued to investigate that shooting, officers were called to investigate on the southeast side, where a 3-year-old boy had been shot. The child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
