ANN ARBOR – Michigan’s hockey team is viewed as a top-20 team in the country entering the 2025-26 season.
The Wolverine are No. 12 in the U.S. College Hockey Online preseason poll , which was released Monday. They also received one first-place vote out of 50.
After Michigan was swept in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament last season and missed the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019, head coach Brandon Naurato said the program would never be in that position again as long as he’s at the helm.
