The Lubbock Independent School District has confirmed there is no imminent threat to Estacado High School Monday following a threatening social media post made against the school.
Following the threats on social media, LISD's Executive Director of Communications & Community Relations Amanda Castro-Crist issued the following statement on behalf of the school district:
" Lubbock ISD is aware of a social media threat that was made to Estacado High School. Lubbock ISD Police are conducting an investigation. At this time, no imminent threat has been identified and as a precaution, there will be an enhanced police presence at our school for the safety of students, staff and families."
