DENTON COUNTY, Texas — One person was killed when an RV overturned in Denton County as severe weather swept through North Texas Sunday night, leaving widespread damage in the small city of Sanger.
The Walmart distribution center in Sanger was also damaged after a portion of its roof collapsed during the storm. Denton County officials estimate a 45-50-foot hole was torn off the roof.
"No injuries were reported, and all employees were safely dismissed," officials said in a statement.
The facility is among several commercial buildings that sustained significant structural damage from the severe weather system.
