Gov. Little issues executive order creating new nuclear energy task force

Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed an executive order Monday at a Western Governors’ Association’s (WGA) conference at Idaho National Laboratory, establishing the Idaho Advanced Nuclear Energy Taskforce.

According to a press release from the governor’s office, the Governor’s Executive Order 2025-06 ensures the state “remains at the forefront of nuclear innovation,” emphasizing the Trump administration’s focus on U.S. domestic nuclear development.
