The City of Santa Maria announced on Friday afternoon that free public wireless internet access points is now available at 10 local parks, community centers and facilities.
This effort, part of its Smart City, Safe City initiative, provides more public internet access in low-to-moderate-income neighborhoods.
Users must connect to the “Santa Maria Guest” wireless network, enter an email address, and accept terms and conditions.
The service is available during normal hours of operation at local parks, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
