Delhi Police’s Crime Branch arrested three men on Friday for impersonating police personnel to rob a jewellery workshop in Farsh Bazaar, officers said on Monday. According to the police, the accused misled the workers at the workshop and fled with Rs 20 lakh in cash and 1.4 kg of gold.
On September 17, police arrested Vikas Keder (30), an employee of the victim’s workshop, from Jaipur. During questioning, he admitted to orchestrating the crime along with two associates from Maharashtra, police said.
On September 19, an overnight raid was conducted in Sangli with assistance from the local crime branch, leading to the arrest of Prashant Raj Kumar Kadam (25) and Shubham Raja Ram Kamble (25). Police recovered Rs 11.91 lakh in cash, 1.4 kg of gold, 2.8 kg of silver, and two mobile phones from
