SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Only one team from South Dakota competed in the most prestigious and competitive high school volleyball event in the country.
Harrisburg returned from Las Vegas last night, after showing that South Dakota has talent that can compete with any school in America.
Ronette Costain, Harrisburg’s volleyball coach said, “We got that comment, well they didn’t think that we could play volleyball. Some of the teams were questioning why we were there. And then when we went out and beat Marymount we sent the message that we deserve to be there and we did. Our parents raised great kids, that’s what we kept hearing, that was the best compliment of the weekend.”
