CLARKSVILLE, Ohio —

One person is dead after a crash on Monday afternoon in Clinton County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:20 p.m. on State Route 132, close to the intersection with State Route 133 in Vernon Township. Advertisement

Investigators say a 1988 Chevrolet GMT400 was traveling northeast on State Route 132 when it swerved left of the center line and struck a Ford F-650 commercial truck going the opposite direction. The Chevrolet then came to a stop in the middle of the road while the Fors traveled off the west side of the roadway.

The driver of the Chevrolet truck, 45-year-old Kyle Hensley, of Clarksville, died at the scene from his injuries.
