2026 is set to open an exciting new chapter for Tomb Raider fans, as the long-awaited sequel to Underworld has finally been announced. While the full adventure is still months away, fans have already been treated to a tantalizing first look at what’s to come, hinting at one of Lara Croft’s most thrilling adventures yet.

Gamers will recall that Tomb Raider: Underworld (2008) marked the final entry in the “Legend–Anniversary–Underworld” trilogy developed by Crystal Dynamics. Following its release, however, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics chose to reboot the franchise rather than continue that timeline.
