In his September 18 adieu to Westerly, Mr. Fritz grouses about the poor environment for businesses in RI and its high taxes as reasons why it took two years to sell his house. Interestingly, for 40 years the State’s fiscal policies were not enough to get him to move.
According to Mr. Fritz, all we have are the beaches. The more than 1200 small business owners in Westerly would likely disagree. As would the executive directors at Westerly Hospital and Wood River Health, major parts of a growing healthcare ecosystem.
