Happy first day of Fall! While the day has seen rainfall avoid much of the Grand Valley, tonight does look to bring rainfall to the Western Slope again. A stationary front will slowly creep down towards us, and around midnight there is expected to be a wave of rainfall for us in Grand Junction. The low will be 51°.

I do expect those scattered rainfall chances to last into tomorrow morning and potentially even the early afternoon. The amount will vary drastically with the angle of a low-pressure system moving right overhead of us. It wouldn't take movement to vary much for the Grand Valley to miss out on the rainfall. Currently, I think that northeastern flow will bring through more scattered rain for us. Afterwards, high pressure returns, and we see sunny skies and a couple days of cool t
