The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has located the missing daughters of a woman murdered in 1989, solving part of a decades-old mystery.

On Dec. 12, 1989, the body of a female victim was found on Old Temple Bar Road off White Hills Road in Mohave County, about 50 miles south of Las Vegas. She had been stabbed multiple times and left nude in the desert. Investigators determined she was killed where she was found. Detectives obtained a DNA profile from the victim, but despite extensive efforts, the case went cold. ×
