Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk's widow, takes the stage during the memorial service honoring her late husband at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sept. 21, 2025.

“The Turning Point Tour,” previously known as “The American Comeback Tour,” resumed at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities on Monday, Sept. 22, less than two weeks after Turning Point USA co-founder and conservative media personality Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Orem, Utah.

In her first public address following her husband’s death, Erika Kirk vowed to keep her husband’s legacy alive by announcing that the campus tour and America Fest, another Turning Point USA-sponsored event, would go on as planned.

“Our campus tour this fall will continue,” announced the newly appointed Turning Point USA CEO on Sept. 12. “There will be even more tours in the years to come.”

According to the conservative youth activist organization, “Each stop is a chance to honor Charlie’s mission and keep the fight alive. We know he wouldn’t want us to surrender or be coerced into silence. Free speech is only free if we use our voices.”
