The consequences of a federal budget bill passed by Republicans in Congress is hurting residents across Maryland's 6th Congressional District, U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney told union leaders in Frederick on Monday.

The Big Beautiful Bill presented by President Donald Trump and passed by Congress in July is "anything but," McClain Delaney told representatives from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
