SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - In November, Sioux Falls will host the US Olympic Curling Team Trials.

Sioux Falls Sports Authority’s Thomas Lee led a panel today that gave a glimpse into the Olympic trials and the sport’s future.

“For an Olympic athlete, if you won’t make it through the trials, you go home and go back to your regular job. So if you want to talk pressure as an athlete about the difference between winning and losing a game, come to the Olympic trials here in November. The pressure in that building for what’s at stake for these athletes on the ice is beyond anything you’ll find in sports,” said 2018 Olympic Gold Medalist, Tyler George.
