After nearly two decades in business, celebrated Long Beach Italian staple Michael’s on Naples will be closing its doors.
The restaurant, located at 5620 E. Second St., announced on its Instagram page over the weekend that it will close on Sept. 30 after 18 years in business.
“We are profoundly grateful for every visit, every shared meal, and every memory created around our tables,” read the post, which went on to thank the staff including its well known general manager Massimo Aronne, who had become the face of the restaurant.
There was no reason given for the closure in the post and calls to restaurant representatives were not returned by press time.
