Around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, Grand Junction Police arrested an alleged drunk driver after several cars in a Walmart parking lot were hit.

GJPD responded to the Walmart at 2881 North Avenue and through its investigation, officers learned that 32-year-old Jasmine Fink appeared to be intoxicated after she struck multiple vehicles and store property before attempting to leave the parking lot.

Prior to police arriving, residents attempted to stop Fink from leaving the parking lot, police said. One person tried to block the suspect’s vehicle at the exit, but the suspect rammed the resident’s vehicle several times. Other residents intervened and attempted to detain the suspect until law enforcement arrived.
