SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. —
Former Stockton Unified School District board president Angelann Flores was sentenced on Monday for her felony conviction of filing a false insurance claim.
Flores was sentenced to two years of informal probation, 45 days in county jail stayed upon completion of 120 hours of community service within a year, restitution and she was ordered not to drive without a valid driver's license and auto insurance, according to the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office. Flores is also prohibited from owning or possessing firearms and must provide a DNA sample.
Flores was arrested in April 2024 after an investigation into allegations of theft of public funds and insurance fraud.
