MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Legislative Black Caucus hosted a town hall in Madison Monday.

Participants were invited to come with questions and concerns, especially regarding the Black community in Wisconsin.

Members of the caucus say it's important for them to engage with the community so they can form an agenda.

That way, they can be ready to provide answers when the other lawmakers have questions about what the Black community is talking about.

Speakers emphasized how the issues impacting Black Wisconsinites impact other people in the state too, and collaboration is powerful.

The caucus invited listeners to reach out with more questions.
