KENNEWICK, Wash. – A local nurse has been recognized for his compassionate care and dedication to patients during their most vulnerable moments.

Registered Nurse Rick Gullotto received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, an honor he has been nominated for four times since Trios Health began presenting it.

Gullotto has been working in the Trios Health emergency department since October 2023. His commitment to patient-centered care has not gone unnoticed.

Interim Chief Nursing Officer at Trios Health expressed pride in Gullotto's dedication, saying, "Rick's commitment to compassionate patient-centered care truly sets him apart. We're incredibly proud to recognize him with this award," said the officer.
