Carlo Prati’s 50th win as head coach of Fox Chapel’s girls’ soccer team certainly had plenty of meaning behind it.

Before joining the Foxes, Prati was an assistant coach at Shaler (6-3-1, 3-3-0) for four seasons. Prati went on to Fox Chapel (9-1, 6-0), where he served as an assistant for four seasons under Peter Torres. Now, he’s in his fourth season at the helm for Fox Chapel.

His 50th win came in Fox Chapel’s 3-2 victory against Shaler.

“I know Shaler well,” Prati, a Shaler grad himself, said. “Coming into this season, I knew they were improved, a very solid team. They didn’t have the experience last year. But this year, we knew they were going to be one of the top teams in our section.”
