Camping World Stadium is set for a $400 million overhaul aimed at attracting more marquee events to Orlando.

City leaders and project officials met this week with residents and subcontractors to discuss the third phase of renovations, which are set to begin as early as next year. Plans call for a reimagined upper bowl, new lighting, a redesigned exterior, and roughly 2,000 additional seats.

“The only thing we haven’t done since 2014 is the upper decks,” said Allen Johnson, the City of Orlando’s chief venues officer. “We’ll be adding a north deck, finishing suites, expanding the field — all exciting things to make this the best it can be.”
