HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Bridges around Fourpole Creek in Huntington are getting a long-awaited facelift.

Huntington Mayor Patrick Farrell, along with the West Virginia Department of Transportation, have now worked out a schedule to jumpstart the project.

Construction has already started on the Beechwood Street Bridge. It will remain closed throughout winter.

Construction on the Enslow Boulevard Bridge and 12th Street Bridge is set to begin in December.

The other bridges will be under construction during a time span starting in 2026.

Federal money is being used to fund the projects.
