EUGENE, Ore. – More than 90,000 Lane County residents get their Medicaid insurance through PacificSource but that may change.
The health insurance plan provider submitted a notice to the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Sept. 18 saying they do not plan to renew their Lane County Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) contract. PacificSource Vice President of Medicaid Programs, Erin Fair Taylor, sent KEZI a statement about the situation.
“We did not come to this decision lightly,” Taylor said. “And we are deeply disappointed that we have not yet reached a path forward. Our priority has always been to provide Oregonians with access to high-quality care.”
