A Lyndora woman is accused of aiding a Butler man in the alleged sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl and participating in the abuse, according to charges filed last week.
Bethany Joy Hall, 41, was charged Wednesday, Sept. 17, with one felony count each of aggravated indecent assault, aiding in aggravated indecent assault, child endangerment, corruption of minors and misdemeanor failing to report suspected child abuse.
She’s being held in Butler County Prison on a $25,000 bail.
According to the affidavit, police were alerted to Hall’s alleged role in the sexual abuse of the teen by Nathan Cornetti, a 33-year-old Butler man accused of sexually abusing the 15-year-old girl. Police said Cornetti, in July, accused Hall of participating in the abuse and allowing it to occur.
