EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Four people were injured and taken to the hospital in a shooting on Monday night, Sept. 21 in East El Paso.

An El Paso Fire spokesman said they responded at about 9 p.m. to the 10700 block of Montana Avenue in East El Paso.

The spokesperson said that three people were transported with serious injuries (Code 3) and one person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries (Code 1).

El Paso Police later confirmed that it was a shooting.
