TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A Tucson park on the eastside is without a water station after the city removed it, citing "prohibited items." Paula Rangel, a nearby neighbor, installed the station at Groves II Park earlier this year to support the local community, including homeless people who frequent the park.

Rangel was disheartened when the station was removed without prior notice.

"I was honestly, I was very sad, disappointed that the Tucson Parks and Recreation had taken it without a warning," Rangel said.

The city left a notice explaining that items in the park were prohibited and could be retrieved at nearby Lincoln Park.

Tucson Parks and Recreation provided News 4 Tucson with the following statement, further explaining the removal:

"Anything on city owned land, requires prior approva
