As the state mourned for the untimely demise of the son of the soil, Zubeen Garg, a major row erupted on Sunday night after hundreds of students organized a protest against what they termed the administration’s “insensitive” management of Assam’s mourning period for the late music legend Zubeen Garg.

The students alleged that the university administration did not allow them to conduct a condolence meeting for Garg on September 21.
