CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston city leaders will hold Tuesday a public hearing and first reading on a proposed medical district overlay zone.
The proposal would pave the way for a state-of-the-art cancer center and broader medical campus growth at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Officials say it would also give MUSC special height and building exceptions.
The first reading and public hearing it set for 5 p.m. during Tuesday’s city council meeting at City Hall.
