Spiders and cockroaches aren’t the only creepy crawly bugs wandering your house in the night.

There’s another that burrows inside your bed, couch and curtains.

No more than the width of a credit card, bed bugs can squeeze behind electrical outlets , along window frames, under loose wallpaper and even in the head of a screw.

You may also find them hiding in your child’s backpack and stuffed animals.

According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, they prefer to feed on humans and will travel up to 20 feet from an established hiding place to drink our blood.

Though primarily active at night, if hungry, they’ll seek a meal in full daylight.

This may sound like another fictional scary story, but it’s all too real.
