No more than the width of a credit card, bed bugs can squeeze behind electrical outlets , along window frames, under loose wallpaper and even in the head of a screw.
You may also find them hiding in your child’s backpack and stuffed animals.
According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, they prefer to feed on humans and will travel up to 20 feet from an established hiding place to drink our blood.
Though primarily active at night, if hungry, they’ll seek a meal in full daylight.
