Ex-Red Sox slugger Rafael Devers posted a .989 OPS in August after he initially struggled with the Giants following the June 15 blockbuster trade .
However, Devers is struggling again, batting .184 with a .698 OPS in 20 games during September.
Devers and the Giants lost 6-5 to the Cardinals on Monday to drop to 77-80. San Francisco is 3 ½ games out of the final NL Wild Card with only five games remaining in the regular season.
