A North Iowa man has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after being convicted of methamphetamine trafficking.

Andrew Frazee, 32, of Garner, received that sentence last week after a May 1 guilty plea to conspiracy to distribute over a pound of methamphetamine.

At the plea and sentencing hearings, Frazee admitted that in November 2024, he and others conspired to distribute over a pound of methamphetamine in and around Hancock County, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa.

Evidence showed that on Nov. 19, law enforcement observed Frazee and his vehicle in a ditch in rural Hancock County.
