RALEIGH — Media members got a glimpse inside Will Wade’ s world at N.C. State ’s Dail Basketball Center on Sept. 22, the first official day of practice for the Wolfpack .
Following interviews with Wade and players, the new-look Wolfpack stepped on the court and reporters were allowed to watch the action for 30 minutes.
Surrounded by 13 newcomers, Jordan Snell and Paul McNeil were the lone familiar faces in a group that is projected by many to compete atop the ACC as an NCAA Tournament participant and contender.
“We can’t talk about our identity, we gotta be our identity … make sure we set the tone,” Wade said before practice started as the team huddled around him on the Wolfpack logo at midcourt.
Here are observations from the portion of practice open to media members.
