Naturally, fans of the film reacted by pleading for a sequel, a common reaction in today's franchise-ridden movie landscape. Nothing has been confirmed so far, but now the director has revealed that we could see more of Weapons in the future. Cregger says that there have been talks with Warner Bros. about a possible prequel based on an idea he had before the film was even released.
