A collision over the weekend has resulted in impaired driving charges for a 28-year-old Thunder Bay man.
Officers with the Thunder Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to reports of a crash on Highway 11/17 near John Street on Saturday just before 1 a.m.
Officers claimed one of the drivers had been consuming alcoholic beverages and was placed under arrest. The driver was brought to the detachment for further testing.
The man was charged with dangerous operation, operation while impaired, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
The accused was released from custody with a future court date.
