LOS ANGELES —

Boston Celtics wingman Jaylen Brown joined Bill Nye the Science Guy as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Monday.

The ceremony featured appearances from several celebrities, including Brown, Steve Nissen and Joel McHale.

Nye started his career as an engineer at Boeing, but after winning a regional Steve Martin lookalike contest, he tried his hand at comedy — and the rest is history.

His hit show ran from 1993 to 1999 and earned 19 Emmys.
