A Brockton man pleaded not guilty last week to charges related to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian, officials said.
Around 10 p.m. on Aug. 31, a blue Mazda struck a pedestrian crossing Crescent Street in Brockton and then fled the scene, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
On Sept. 3, that pedestrian — identified as 41-year-old Holden Depina — died at a local hospital from related injuries.
Police had obtained surveillance footage of the blue Mazda arriving at the residence of the suspect, Dominick Leite, 30, authorities said.
