Indian Railways has expanded its fleet with the rollout of Vande Bharat Express trains, now running 75 services across the country, though the northeast is yet to be covered.
These trains vary in speed and coach numbers depending on the tracks they run on. They have steadily gained popularity, evidenced by the fact that many routes now have occupancy rates exceeding 100%.
