DeSantis announced he will propose conveying a 2.63-acre parcel of land in Miami-Dade County, adjacent to the Freedom Tower, for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library.
The proposal will be on the agenda for the state's board of trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund meeting scheduled for Sept. 30.
The parcel of land is currently utilized as an employee parking lot for Miami-Dade College's Wolfson Campus.
If approved, the site would become the first presidential library established in the state.
