KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Drivers in East Tennessee are sounding the alarm about the rules of the road, letting us know breaking rules don’t just drive them crazy, but also put their fellow motorists in danger.
Sonya Patterson wrote into WVLT’s “What’s Driving You Crazy on the Roads?” form, saying “drivers don’t know the difference between merge and yield.”
Cynthia Broyles also wrote in.
“I see more people not yielding to traffic when merging onto the interstate,” she said. “Instead of adjusting their speed to traffic, it’s an attitude of ‘get out of my way, I am getting on.’ I’ve seen too many close calls.”
